By Adam Pawlus — Saturday, February 18, 2017

3297 Metal!  You've seen these before, but the 3 3/4-inch diorama 40th Anniversary Titanium Series figures are pretty neat.  Han Solo, Princess Leia Organa, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and Obi-Wan Kenobi were all shown in person to the public for the first time.

Also shown, more packs of helmets.  When are they coming?  I have no idea, but we have pictures.

Star Wars Goes Metal - Again

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, February 9, 2017

If you're very old, you may remember Hasbro's Titanium Series Forged Figures a few years ago - die-cast metal (and plastic) figures packaged in plastic domes for about $15.  The format is back, taking a cue from Unleashed and the 3 3/4-inch 2002 Saga line with swooshes and blast effects - and cool display stands.   Hasbro says:

3245

STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES 3.75-INCH TITANIUM SERIES Figure Assortment

This highly detailed scale of action figures allows fans to recreate epic scenes from STAR WARS EPISODE IV: A NEW HOPE. Each figure features a dynamic, double-sided backdrop and character-specific accessory, allowing fans to recreate iconic moments. Even better, collect each individual backdrop to piece together a bigger STAR WARS scene. Each figure sold separately. Available at most major retailers and on HasbroToyShop.com.

What's this?  Why, it's new Titanium Series vehicles!  The A-Wing, Imperial Shuttle, Jakku Landspeeder, Anakin's Jedi Starfighter, Republic Gunship, Sith Infiltrator, and Star Destroyer are all here.  (Some are returning champions.)  They're all still quite cheap, thankfully, so you can get 'em in stores soon.   Images after the jump.
