Another one! This Obi-Wan Kenobi (Mission Series Utapau) is a tiny bit different from the normal release - probably not enough for most people to notice, so like Darth Vader you may wish to skip it unless you want that pretty cool - and huge - General Grievous from the 2-pack. Read on!
At Entertainment Earth, the really cool Hasbro Star Wars Clone Republic Attack Shuttle Vehicle is 56% off, but only until midnight tonight! This hybrid vehicle/playset has tons of moving parts and can essentially transform from a really nice ship to a battle bunker of sorts. It also has a unique Clone Trooper pilot mold and a white blaster rifle you won't find elsewhere. It's only $35.00 until midnight tonight, so click here and buy yours now!
If you like Bespin, you'll probably dig Luke Skywalker from the Mission Series. Sure, it comes with a Darth Vader you probably own - but this Luke has 5 joints and a working holster! It ain't bad - it could use yellower hair, but you can't get lemon-headed figures all the time I guess. Read on!
This Darth Vader was packaged with Luke in a Bespin Mission Series 2-pack. It's virtually identical to a 2013 release, save for some of the chest sculpting and other batch variances. The Luke ain't bad, but he's tomorow - read on to find out more about Darth Vader!
Oh... yeah! Figure of the Day is back with Darth Sidious, a simultaneously fantastic and weird take on the Sith Lord from the most recent Star Wars movie which, at 9 years old, means we're all dying. Slowly. It's a fun figure, particularly the split robe pants - these are just fantastic. Read on!

As we pass a little over the halfway point of 2014, many collectors are wondering if this has been the worst year of collecting ever. While we’ve had some highlights for The Black Series, especially in the 6 inch scale, one can’t help but feel that 2014 is more of a “placeholder” year. A transition period that came as a result of the dynamic changes for the franchise in 2013 with Hasbro having to change up strategy and make quick realignments of their resources for Episode 7. It sure seems that way with the scarcity of product since the beginning of the year. But based on what Hasbro previewed during their annual Comic-Con Star Wars Day panel, we have some good things to look forward to for the back to school/holiday season and Q1 of 2015.
Hasbro provides us with official photos of their 2015 reveals from yesterday's panel. Click here to check them out!
We have uploaded photos from Hasbro's Booth post panel with the exciting new 2015 reveals. While we experienced somewhat of a lull in 2014, Star Wars Rebels and this little flick coming out later in 2015 promises an avalanche of product next year. But in the meantime, Hasbro wows our attention and hits us with amazing new figures for The Black Series, Star Wars Rebels, and Saga Legends. Click here to view all the photos in our Image Bank!
Here's a great article on the design and the development of the new TBS 6 inch scale Jabba the Hutt from Mental Floss. Jabba is being offered as a HasbroToyShop exclusive at the show and will be available in limited quantities at their webstore after SDCC concludes. A general release version without the hookah and Salacious Crumb will release later this year. Click here to read the article and thanks to JediDefender for the heads up!
Another SDCC Preview Night has come and gone and the attendance felt like a Saturday as crowd traffic was shoulder to shoulder and the Hasbro-nites (as well as resellers) flooded HasbroToyShop's booth with fervor and frustration. This being my 15th straight Comic-Con, long lines waiting for hyped exclusives are no longer as appealing. The time was better spent shooting photos of Hasbro's booth, and while the majority of it was already previewed at Toy Fair, there were a couple of reveals including a closer look at the SDCC exclusive Jabba, the Walgreen Prototype Fett, Target's pair of Star Wars Rebels vehicles, and a few from ToysRUs and Walmart.
We've posted a slew of early photos from Hasbro's booth, including their huge Star Wars Command diorama and store exclusives. Also some shots of Gentle Giant's awesome reveal which will make fans of Vintage Kenner and notorious bounty hunters quite happy. Check out all the photos in our Facebook page here and keep checking for additional photos and coverage throughout the day!
Galactic Hunter's coverage of Comic-Con International in San Diego begins this afternoon. Be sure to check our Facebook and Twitter feeds for instant updates and look for a Hasbro Preview Night photos and report later this evening. The annual pop culture extravaganza is about to commence! Join us for the fun, the exclusives, and hopefully some Episode 7 news!
