It's Mace Windu (The Black Series 6-Inch)! Not only did Hasbro make a good figure with a great sculpt, but we got cloth Jedi robes that are actually pretty good. Read on!
It's time to see Han Solo (Mimban, The Black Series 6-Inch) from that movie you probably still need to see. He has a helmet, cape, goggles, blaster, and at least mine has one bum elbow. Read on!
This Dryden Vos (The Black Series 6-Inch) turned out well - it's also the only one, another 6-inch figure that doesn't (hopefully only yet) exist as a 3 3/4-inch scale figure. The unusually tall figure has an amazing sculpt with amazingly sculpted plastic fabric, great hair, and a realistic likeness - really, you don't need to read on to know it's good but read on!
The very, very long-awaited Grand Moff Tarkin in 3 3/4-inch 1978-style has arrived at Target stores. Use DPCI 087-06-0431 in-stores or this link for availability. It's $19.99 and packed in a remake of the "Escape the Death Star" board game, which was produced by Kenner in late 1977 in order to get something, anything, on shelves thanks to its lack of tooling. It's basically a $7 protective shell around Tarkin's 6x9-inch cardback, pre-punched, faux-weathered, stickered, and complete with a blaster pistol that's pretty darned convincing as almost an original.
The Vice Admiral Holdo (The Black Series 6-Inch) turned out to be an example of things working against things not working. Her hair is amazing, and the head sculpt is spectacular. But the eyes aren't quite right, and the dress doesn't fall on the shoulders properly. Hasbro did do a spectacular job with the plastic dress element around the neck and arms, plus her articulation is good too. Is she worth it? Do you have any other Holdo options? Is this just going to be customized later? Read on!
Annoyingly essential! Can you believe that this Darth Vader (2019, The Vintage Collection) is based on what was once the go-to Darth Vader figure mold from 2005? Originally used in the Evolution set, this one has a shockingly good series of paint applciations on the Anakin head under the helmet - and some improvments on the armor too. This is the 2019 release of the Vintage figure from 2010, so it's a repaint of a reissue of a remake or some such. If that sounds interesting, let me assure you that you're going to want this one. At this time it appears it's a de facto online exclusive, unless you shop somewhere that orders from a distributor that just happens to also sell online. Read on!
This Imperial Jumptrooper (The Black Series 6-Inch) is showing up at GameStops and includes a display stand. It's basically a normal Stormtrooper with a new head, shoudlers, jetpack, and a display base that's adequate. Is it worth grabbing? Read on!
Hasbro did a perfect job with the imperfect Battle Droid (The Black Series 6-Inch) design! Thanks to skinny limbs, balancing him perfectly so he won't fall in a few hours is a challenge - so get yourself a display stand that can hold him up by the waist. And then settle in for one of the best figures Hasbro has engineered at this size, with tons of articulation and superb paint. It's the thing you want to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Phantom Menace, and yes it has been that long. Read on!
This Padme Amidala (The Black Series 6-Inch) is a keeper. You get alternate hands, a blaster, a bigger blaster, and a cape - plus one of the better likenesses on a human figure. Read on!
Fresh from the first season of Resistance, it's Synara San (Resistance line look)! We didn't hear any buzz for more figures from the show out of Celebration, so go ahead and track these down now. It shouldn't be a huge collection. I dig how her costume seems to take elements of a Biker Scout pants and Lando's guard helmet. Read on!

If you have a Force Link 2.0 band, you'll love the beeps on the R2-D2 (Solo: A Star Wars Story line look). It's a redeco of an existing mold, and the flames are super colorful. Read on!
It's a little different! With a mighty scowl, Stormtrooper (Resistance line look) has a blaster and no hip slot for a blaster. It's black and white and not red all over, and one of few figures in the fairly small Resistance series. It's neat, but should you get it if you have a bunch of First Order Movie Stormtroopers? Read on!
Two heads are better than one! Torra Doza has that classic Gulf coloring with two heads! There's a second one inside the helmet. Read on!
