Guess what - next week your sneak preview figure goes up for sale in San Diego! It's today's Figure of the Day. Read about Stormtrooper (First Order) right now, or don't. It comes in a neat slipcase with a booklet hidden in the back. I've got many pictures for you if you read on!
EW, girl, EW. Over at Entertainment Weekly, you can read the descriptively titled article Check out an exclusive look at the first toys from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It gives you a look at the $25 Black Series debut Stormtrooper as well as Mattel's Hot Wheels car and a LEGO buildable figure.
If you just can't wait for (most likely) September, you can part with your money early by clicking here to see the new 6-inch Stormtrooper. There is no packaging shown and you can see the blaster - it's pretty sweet! There's also a backpack peg, which may mean there are multiple versions of this figure on the horizon. Check it out.
Despite being a "secret," one of the worst-kept factoids of the new movie has been of a big merchandise launch on September 4, or "Force Friday." In an attempt to replicate the free publicity train provided by news reporters, radio stations, and fans in line back in May of 1999, you are once again being asked to line up at midnight to fork over hundreds of dollars on toys which history tends to show being worth nothing on eBay in a couple of years, because the good stuff comes later.
