Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 1,834

By Adam Pawlus — Monday, June 25, 2012

There are figures you must own in your collection, but Passel Argente is not one of them.  It's a perfectly good figure with limited articulation, but it's not like he was a major character.  Is greenie  worth it? Read on!

Here's a neat one.  Check out the Tartakovsky Clone Trooper, part of a once-rare boxed set which is now a dirt-cheap boxed set.  It's disgusting how awesome this figure is for the price.  Read on!

Last but not least in this new wave of Vintage is Clone Pilot Odd Ball, a nicely-sculpted and pretty nicely painted new pilot! We didn't need a new mold, but Hasbro gave it to us and it turned out well.  How well?  Read on!

Some figures I love, and you'll hate.  This Obi-Wan Kenobi may qualify, given it has an astonishingly good sculpt and Ewan McGregor likeness, but only 5 points of articulation.  Since I'm right and you're wrong, what's wrong with you?  Read on and find out!

It's the 2012 Luke Skywalker in his Hoth gear! For the first time ever, this outfit gets things like wrist joints and ankles.  Was it worth the wait, or does Hasbro need to redo it already?  Read on!

It's hard to find, but pretty neat!  The 501st Legion Clone Trooper from the vintage line is mostly old parts, but new paint makes everything fun again.  Check it out!

It's the new Vintage Collection Starkiller!  He has so much gear, it's crazy.  The sculpt is good, the paint is mostly good, and if you love lightsabers then this is the figure for you.   Want to know more?  Read on, and watch the video after the jump!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 1,826 with Bonus Video

It ain't perfect, but this just-released Vintage 2012 Grand Moff Tarkin is pretty good.  This is a figure with great engineering and parts reuse, and unfortunate color and plastic choices.  (He's shiny.)  The cloth skirt doesn't look so bad in person, and the sculpt is exceptional.  Want to know more?  Read on, or watch the video after the jump!  (It's short, but not too short.)

New! (But no video.)  Kithaba has red pants, just like the Barada figure you had or wished you had as a kid! He also has a variation, but you knew that.   Is he cool? YES! Read on!

While long-awaited, Daultay Dofine didn't top a bunch of wish lists.  The benefit of the long gap between his debut in the movies and his figure comes through in its great costume and articulation.  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 1,820

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, June 5, 2012

Best know to many as Klaatu, Wooof came out in late 2010 as one of the few figures which took an exceptionally long time to see a modern-era remake.  He may be warming pegs, but is he worth buying? Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 1,819

It's Darth Nihil, one of the Sith of the future that actually (barely) made it out as an action figure.  Should you get it? Well, it's the only Nagai figure so I say yes! Read on!
