How prototypical! Target's exclusive Stormtrooper (Prototype Edition - Yellow Head, The Retro Collection) is another neat one. It's a multicolor release of a remake of a figure from 1978 - and it's neat! There are six flavors to track down if you dare. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Death Star Droid (The Vintage Collection). It's a repaint of a figure from over 10 years ago, but it's a nice one - so maybe you won't mind the reduced articulation since it genuinely looks great. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Tusken Raider (2.0, The Vintage Collection). He's got a new head, new arms, and fancy improved soft goods - it's worth getting if you can find this Walmart exclusive! Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Boba Fett (Prototype Edition - Green Head, The Retro Collection). There are at least six color configurations - and mine looks like a Crayola box! Read on!
A classic has returned! Luke Skywalker (Endor, The Vintage Collection). New for 2021, figure takes a 2010 Jedi Luke and adds a new head and new accessories - and it's pretty great if you can find one, exclusively at Walmart. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Flametrooper (Gaming Greats, The Black Series).
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Paploo (The Vintage Collection). It's secretly Lumat with new gear - the face is the tell! Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Princess Leia (Endor, The Vintage Collection). I actually saw one in a Walmart two days ago - and she looks good, provided her face is on straight! Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Anakin Skywalker (The Clone Wars, The Black Series 6-Inch). This Target exclusive is still super-tough to come by... as are the others. Read on!
Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Darth Maul (Sith Apprentice, The Black Series 6-Inch). It's a retool, and a pretty good one with a decent body upgrade and nice deco. Not bad for a modified 2013 release! Read on!

Today in Figure of the Day, it's a good one: Cad Bane (The Black Series 6-Inch). This one was available by himself or in a set with Todo 360, end either one is really excellent if you can find them. Cad Bane's hat comes off, he has two blasters, and each and every joint seems to be perfectly hidden in his costume. This is one of the best figures from last year, so get one when you see one. Read on!
A blast from the past from right now: Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi (Kenner, The Black Series 6-Inch). This one takes an existing mold, and paints it in 1978 colors. The cloth cape is gone, replaced by a vinyl cape - which works surprisingly well. This is absolutely more of an art piece or a display piece - and it's seemingly sold out for a while. Read on!
As Captain Beefheart once said to hecklers, "I'm going to do what I want to do!"
I don't much like coding or social media or anything like that - but I love writing about toys. Back in the 1990s I ran a Star Wars email newsletter called ASWN, Adam's Star Wars Newsletter, as a dial-up text email blasted out to people. I may set up a new email server, but I brought it back as a 1995-chic web page with all the new info from today's Hasbro Pulse announcements, and some updates on upcoming comics, streaming shows, and conventions that you may have missed.
Click here to return to 1995 with a brand new issue of Adam's Star Wars newsletter. It's all text. That's how I want to do it. If you don't like it, there are lots of other web pages not written by cranky middle-aged fans who started writing about toys as cranky teenage fans.
