Preview night was the normal bustle of critical mass as attendees try to cover the Comic-Con floor, check out the latest and greatest, and buy their exclusives all in the span of 2 1/2 hours. Hasbro once again gives a good showcase centered around a huge and masterfully done Hoth diorama, complete with key scenes from Echo Base and a spectacular recreation of the battle of Hoth. Going on sale basically right now is this Comic-Con exclusive Visionaries Darth Maul! It's super-articulated, has a crown of horns, a lightsaber with removable blades, and incredible hip articulation. Justin Hauner and his friend, Ben Fucik, were in a hurry. Their flight home from San Diego, California, to Appleton, Wisconsin, was taking off soon, and they had to get to the airport in time.
However, Hauner had a change in plans that had them in a race against the clock: He had to ship the collectibles he had purchased on his trip back to Wisconsin.
"I had so much stuff that I bought that I didn't have enough room to get into my luggage," he said.
