Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,063: Khaat Qiyn (Battle of Geonosis: Jedi Knights)

By Adam Pawlus — Friday, November 22, 2013

While she looks a little more like Han & Leia's kid than the actress in the movie, Khaat Qiyn is largely pretty neat.  Sure, she has a giant mitt, but Que-Mars' other hand had to go somewhere.  Want to know more?  Read on

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,062: Que-Mars Redath (Battle of Geonosis: Jedi Knights)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, November 21, 2013

While it's not uncommon for a figure to have a minor error or two, Que-Mars Redath received two of them - and they're pretty interesting ones, at that.  This isn't the first Weequay Jedi, nor do we anticipate it to be the last.  It is, however, the first figure in the last set we're going to be looking at this week so go ahead and read on!

I know what you're thinking  - didn't you buy a Vintage 212th Battalion Clone Trooper just about two years ago?  Yes, but this one is just different enough to make you mad!  New damage markings and slightly different orange patterning await you on this exclusive Droid Factory figure which now uses the 2011 Vintage Clone body, which the previous version did not.  Read on

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,059: Sun Fac (2013 Legacy Collection Droid Factory)

By Adam Pawlus — Monday, November 18, 2013

Did you know you needed another Sun Fac? Neither did I.  This Amazon-exclusive 2013 release is a redeco of the 2006 pegwarmer original, which would surely have poisoned the pegs.  As such, we're all happy to see it online.  It has fewer accessories than the original, lacks the eye scar, and has slightly different deco.  Is the new release worth it?  Read on!

Quick Pics and Video: Gentle Giant Promotional Jar Jar Binks Bust with Santa Hat

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, December 18, 2012

Have you see this year's Gentle Giant Holiday Bust for Star Wars? It's Jar Jar Binks with a nifty santa hat and electronic lights! Numbered and limited to barely over 200 units, this particular version does not include Wald as a companion piece, but there is a swell magnetic base which masks the bust's "on" switch. There are multiple light blinking modes, and yes, we've got a video after the jump.

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 1,891

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, September 12, 2012

Who loves a good argument?  The Nightsister which just showed up at Target is sold with animated versions of Darth Maul and Savage Opress, but is sculpted to match a prequel concept for a proto-Darth Maul Sith Witch character.  She's not very cartoony, but if anything, feels like a stealth "concept" figure rather than a Mother Talzin substitute.
