He's the BB-8 replacement for the back half of Star Wars: Resistance, which you did not watch most likely. A theme park exclusive, this is available online at a mark-up but may well be abundant and cheaper as the theme parks open even more by the end of the month. Read on!

Fresh from the Disney parks (a few years ago) is today's Figure of the Day: Vendor Droid (White, Droid Factory). This one has what looks like a price scanner on his head. The white version has a brown printed pattern on it to look a little worn, which is weird for a robot that works in stores. The model first showed up in The Clone Wars, and hasn't really made many appearances since. If you have one, you probably got it at a Disney theme park. Read on!

Today's Figure of the Day comes from a theme park: R2-Series Astromech Droid White with Red Panels. I took a while to get to a lot of these droids, but the white dome look is pretty distinctive - and the red panels are a little bit different than some of the other ones Disney put out. It doesn't remind me of any specific droid in any of the TV shows or films, but at least it looks different than a lot of the other figures in my droid collection. Read on!

Today in Figure of the Day: R5-Series Astromech Droid White with Purple Panels. This sat unopened in my basement for a while, but this is a really cool design with unique paint masks on the dome - and the same purple body you saw before. And it's from late 2015. Today's Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day: R0-Series Astromech Droid Black with Orange. This might be at a theme park still - I haven't been by in a few years so I can't say. This was one of the most recent part drops at Disney, which was five years ago. Do you need it? No - but it's really cool and one of only two R0 droid domes to be made so far, making it essential for me at the very least. Read on!

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: R6-Series Astromech Droid White with Yellow and Silver. It's a redeco of a redeco - a second take at a yellow droid for Disney parks' parts bins. It's more lemony in color, and has a few different changes from the previous release in 2012 - assuming you can find one, it's pretty nifty. Read on!

The theme-park exclusive color change droid sets and playset are now on ShopDisney.com.    These are pretty good sets for the asking price - although $50 for the playset is a bit high.  We've reviewed these droids in Figure of the Day in 2020, and if you don't have the molds - and like things that change color - these are worth picking up.

From way back in 2017, it's the R3-H17 (Droid Factory Line Look)!  And yes that is mistletoe - but given the other droids don't have lips, I assume they won't be doing much kissing.   This little fellow is from 2017, so don't expect to see them on shelves in the theme parks you should be staying away from right now.  Read on!

Coming in 2021, Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett is a very real thing and not just what you wanted to see as a teenager.   After a scene announced the show last week on The Mandalorian (we don't consider announcements to be spoilers here), StarWars.com posted The Book of Boba Fett, a New Series, Coming December 2021 on Disney+.

It's this year's Disney Droid for the holidays!  Available online - I mean, what isn't? - BB-H20 is a quasi-candy cane colored redeco of BB-8.  If you weren't told it was a holiday thing, it would just look like any other droid - so it's subtle.  Read on!

In recent years a question fans have asked about Star Wars is "How much is too much?" Not because they don't want more, but because things come out so quickly that the old honeymoon period we used to enjoy after each new film - with 2 years of retro stuff and more toys from the movie we just saw - seemed to vanish.  Given the preposterous slate of new projects announced Thursday, it's entirely possible we're going to be overwhelmed once more.

Because your wallet deserves no mercy, Disney Parks (and ShopDisney.com) added Star Wars Droid Factory Figure – BB-H20 today. It's $12.99 plus tax and shipping - which puts it at a bit under $20. Typically when I've had to go for these on eBay, that's pretty close to the best price I've been able to find.  The cardback illustration seems to place it on Crait from The Last Jedi, while the deco on the droid is certainly nondescript Christmas grab bag coloring.

While we wait to find out what this year's holiday exclusive is - if there is one - we can look at the other holiday exclusive, BB-BOO20 (Droid Factory Line Look)!  It's a little pumpkin.  It's cute, and you can order it online for around $20 shipped. It's more than the $13 at the theme parks, but you're probably not going to the theme parks. Read on!
