Presenting some packaged photos of the new Movie Heroes/Clone Wars 2012 Class II Wave 2 vehicles featuring the all new Naboo Starfighter, a repainted Republic Tank, and a re-issued Anakin Skywalker Jedi Starfighter. On a side note, that Republic Tank package art featuring Yoda jumping around like a killer jumping bean is too awesome for words.
Entertainment Earth has canceled pre-orders for the Clone Wars Mandalorian Attack Shuttle. The online retailer (and Galactic Hunter sponsor) took additional pre-orders earlier this year after selling out of their initial allocation and it appears they were unable to obtain the additional stock.
Toy Palace of Germany is taking pre-orders for the U.S. Target exclusive Darth Maul Returns Battle Pack featuring Darth Maul, Savage Opress, and a Night Sister with larger images of the set and the Galactic Battle game cards.

Hasbro updates their site with new product info and photos for their 2012 line. Of particular note are the new prices for The Vintage Collection ($9.99) and Clone Wars ($8.99) as well as their new Movie Heroes line ($8.99) which technically replaces Saga Legends in the hierarchy. They were originally slated to hit in August, but Wal-Mart's exclusive pair of mini vehicles hit stores this week. Our pal MeisterShake on Twitter gave me the tip, and I checked two local Wal-Marts and sure enough, they were both stocked with the vehicles at just under $17 each. (Oh, and they have shots of canceled toys on the boxes.)

Also added are the new Movie Heroes assortment that features characters from all movies, some with brand new sculpts and most with electronic action features. Revenge is a dish best served cold, and in Hasbro's case, sometimes repackaged. The Hasbro's Comic-Con panels normally provides good copy and there were a few nice revelations, and this session provided a mixed bag. For whatever it's worth, the Star Wars line is entering a 16th year of modern iteration and most screen characters have been done again and again...and again.
