C2E2 Exclusive Kabuto Mushi Calls on Boba Fett

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, April 14, 2015

If you like designer toys - and I know you do - you'll want to visit the Glyos News Dump blog for a post I wrote called " C2E2 The Godbeast C2E2 2015 Offerings."   A limited run of figures nodding to things you know and love will be on sale from Marty "The Godbeast" Hansen at the Nerd City booth.  He does great stuff, and I've picked up some of his other offerings over the years.

C2E2: High-End Star Wars Costume Replicas from Anovos

By Adam Pawlus — Saturday, April 26, 2014

Another costume licensor! C2E2 allowed Anovos to debut its Star Wars wares after it put out some top-notch gear from Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica. Previously Windlass Studios put out some top-notch costumes for Padme, Anakin, and others. Anovos has shown Luke Skywalker's Bespin togs from The Empire Strikes Back, some high-end Revenge of the Sith Clone Trooper armor, Han Solo's holster from the original Star Wars, and the prototype for their first Darth Vader costume.

New Darth Vader, Boba Fett Bottle Openers at C2E2

By Adam Pawlus — Sunday, April 28, 2013

Our pal Shaun Clayton was in Chicago and sent in a couple of quick shots from C2E2 showing off Diamond Select Toys' new metal bottle openers!  Based on the helmet and torso armor of Darth Vader and Boba Fett, these two releases are due later this year and follow in the footsteps of their already-available and quite nifty Death Star Bottle Opener.  Also shown was a 501st Legion Clone Trooper Vinyl Bust Bank.  Check out the pics after the jump!

C2E2 Gets Exclusive Convention Star Wars Jawa Bank

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, April 25, 2013

I'm a big fan of Diamond Select Toys' vinyl banks - they're pretty cheap, pretty nice, and pretty sizable in an era where things are getting more expensive and smaller.  At C2E2 in Chicago this weekend, they'll be selling an Exclusive Star Wars 1:4 Scale Jawa Vinyl Bank.  The regular version has a droid caller, the convention exclusive version has a blaster.  As a roughly 11-inch tall vinyl bank, it's pretty hefty for the asking price of just $22, particularly considering the low edition size of 250!  See the full picture after the jump.
