Image Bank: SL15 Shock Trooper

By Mike — Sunday, December 19, 2010

A repaint of the original white super-articulated Revenge of the Sith Clone Trooper from 2005 for the ROTS Skirmish in the Senate Battlepack, this Shock Trooper has seen many lives as either a Saga Legends or Battlepack repack. Still, the sculpt is good and the deco is appealing, therefore, he's still a decent army builder to beef up Palpatine's goon squad.

Hey, it's a Bonus Pit Droid!  Back in 2001, these thinks were basically the bigfoot of action figures-- you've never seen them, and you never will.  In 2007, Hasbro reissued them and now you can get them cheap-- that's life!   So is it worth getting these legends?  Read on!

Image Bank: SL14 R2-D2

By Mike — Monday, December 13, 2010

This figure may not be the most articulated or even definitive R2-D2, but boy is he fun with all the flashing lights and electronic sounds. A repack of the Revenge of the Sith figure from  2005, this mold actually saw its first incarnation in plastic as the POTF2 Power FX R2-D2.

VC13 Consumed by Darth Vader

By Mike — Monday, December 6, 2010

As Hasbro promised, the name tab, cardback, and POP for VC13, formerly known as Anakin Skywalker, is now appropriately called Darth Vader per his transformation and appearance in Mustafar. Of course, you now have two The Vintage Collection "Darth Vaders" on the pegs, the other being VC08, but that shouldn't confuse anyone, right?
