By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, July 7, 2011

Screw naming conventions!  The astromech droid CB-3D looks like several other astromech droids... but he's slightly different.  Is he worth tracking down?  He is if you want a Dark Trooper!  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 1,581

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, July 6, 2011

It took a year and change, but Hasbro put out this original Gungan Warrior after the big shake-up that followed the Episode I line being changed to Power of the Jedi.  Despite having only 6 joints, he's pretty good-- and has great detail on his skin, too!  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 1,580

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, July 5, 2011

It's not a major character, or a very popular one-- but it's a nice figure!  The Neimoidian Warrior has a huge gun and an action feature, plus a removable helmet and good articulation.  Should you buy a few?  Maybe!  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 1,579

By Adam Pawlus — Monday, July 4, 2011

It's Barriss Offee!  The Jedi hasn't received a new figure in years, but now we got two of her in a few months.  How about that!  This animated version is pretty slick, plus includes Geonosian Brain Worms.  Should you track her down, now that she's showing up in stores?  Read on!

The summer kicks off with a new print ad from Hasbro featuring the bounty hunter, Zam Wessel,  and the Attack of the Clones wave in their retro vintage carded glory. Enjoy!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 1,578

By Adam Pawlus — Friday, July 1, 2011

When first revealed to the public in 1999, another, better R2-D2 was shown around the same time.  As such, this one didn't get as much heat, especially after we all found out his scene was deleted-- the booster rockets took on a new form in the sequels. Ah well.  But is it neat?  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 1,577

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, June 30, 2011

One of the most likable critters from Jabba's Palace is the cackling puppet Salacious Crumb.  He's a jerk. What's not to love?  The 2010 release was a repaint of the 2007 release, hardly essential were it not for the fact it came with a new Jabba and Oola.  So how is he different?  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 1,576

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, June 29, 2011

It's no secret, I love Ewoks.  I think the fact that a lot of collectors hate them makes me like them even more.  I was particularly jazzed to get the 2009 update of Paploo which, while I don't love as much as the 1984 original, I still like bunches.  Is he worth your while?  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 1,575

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, June 28, 2011

It's the Evo Trooper, repainted and camo'd up for 2010!  This figure was a Toys R Us exclusive and now... well, maybe you got one.  If not, it's probably not there any more.  Is this repaint worth it?  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 1,574

By Adam Pawlus — Monday, June 27, 2011

It's not superbly common that we get a character like Anakin Skywalker in a disguise like this Naboo Pilot uniform without a regular Naboo Pilot coming out first-- but hey, here we are!  It's a neat figure with a neat ship.  Are you excited?  Should you be?  Read on!

New Target Vintage 3-Packs, Same Old Boring Figures

By Adam Pawlus — Friday, June 24, 2011

If you've been enjoying Hasbro's Kenner-style Special Action Figure Set 3-packs at Target, the guys at LightGeschindigKeit.de have fully-packaged shots of more of them-- with no new figures and a few decent repacks. As always, figures are from Star Wars and Empire. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 1,573

By Adam Pawlus — Friday, June 24, 2011

Some like it Hoth, like this Rebel Trooper variant from last year! It's a Target exclusive, and pretty slick. It's similar to the 2009 carded release, save for the hair color.  Should you get it?  Read on!

New Star Wars Saga Legends Spacetrooper Includes Gun Now

By Adam Pawlus — Friday, June 24, 2011

Last year when Hasbro released the Spacetrooper, it had shoulder pads, a jetpack, and a droid bit.  The droid bit is gone, and now that he's shipping from Hasbro in Saga Legends packaging, he's got a new (to him) gun. (The ammo thing isn't on the side like a Stormtrooper gun, rather it appears similar to a redeco of Wioslea's weapon.) Click through for bigger pics.

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 1,572

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, June 23, 2011

One of Jabba's dancers, this Rystall figure has been readily available online throughout the 2000s, cheaply, and has been blown out and later reissued as a Wal-Mart exclusive. In short: she's very very cheap.  Should you get one?  Read on!
