Hostess Twinkies, going, going, gone?

Oh no! Pretty sure I remember Spiderman doing ads for Hostess Fruit Pies on the inside covers of 70's and 80's comic books.

I can't remember the last time I actually bought Twinkies or any other Hostess treats, but it's kind of disappointing to think that I may not be able to buy them for my kids ever again.

Someone will buy the Twinkie brand. It is the fruit pies that I will miss because I doubt they'd come back.

I also find it ironic that within weeks of a few states legalizing marijuana, Twinkies go bust.

I will be avoiding Colorado even more than I do now, gives the name 'Greenies' a whole new meaning.

I read the other day that the Bimbo Bread folks are top of the list for the acquisition. And QGJ- the pies will be missed, but honestly- I bought one about a month ago for the first time in years. It was apple, but that first bite was SO sweet it should have just been labeled "Sugar Pie" and been more accurate!
