Anyone besides me also collect these? Let the jokes and ranting begin. If there is could we get a Hot Wheels Thread in the Non Star Wars Catagory?

I don't collect all of them, just the Mopar Muscle Cars.

Go back to your mom's basement, Hot Wheels guy! We don't serve your kind here!!

This website is about plastic spacemen, not cars. Get real.

;) JK.

I only go as deep as the "pop culture" offerings. I love the Bat-stuff, and do my best to find the TV/Movie stuff, but get frustrated pretty quickly trying to search the pegs. Someone just hooked me up with KITT a few weeks ago, now I'm looking for the Mystery Machine and the Bat-Pod.

Ha, Was waiting for that. As with action figures, I am an opener, my kids and I love to play with our cars on a track all strung together down the stairs.

I also have not found the Mystery Machine or K.I.T.T. Do have Ecto 1 and all the Batmobiles. On top of the Mopar Muscle cars I do get the Pop culture cars, could not pass up on the A-Team van.

Just messing with you. While I want him to play with spaceships and baseballs, my son loves trucks and cars. Sigh.

I'm almost 39 and I still play with all of them.

I also have not found the Mystery Machine.

I found a few the other day- pm if you want one of them, I'm sure we can figure something out...

I just found the Flintstones Flintmobile today. I didn't know this was coming out, and there it was right on the front of the pegs. I have mixed feelings about this one. It does fall into the pop culture niche, but I don't see any 3-way drag racing between Ecto 1, KITT, and the Flintmobile.

Of course, if they make Barney's log, I'm in! ;)

I think its a re-release from many years ago.

haha, from a quality/detailing standpoint I'd have to agree, but it says "New for 2013!" on the front of the card.

Seems like a waste of time if they did re-do it.

huh. I googled it, and it is the second version they've done. It's an all new sculpt, and pretty much every complaint I have about the 2013 version is done right on the original one. Brown wood, the big rolling wheels, detail...

Apparently it's "New for 2013- now loaded with suck!"

I found a new line of Hot Wheels today. The shelf tag reads "Hot Wheels Entertainment", and they're priced at 4.99 each. They're 1:64 cars, but have extra paint deco and are all metal (including the bottom) with rubber tires. There were 4 of them- 60's TV Batmobile, Ecto-1, Mystery Machine and KITT. I grabbed KITT and the Batmobile to check them out, and they're pretty nice. I'd say they're as good or better than the Johnny Lightning stuff, and I'll likely grab the other two cars.

I picked one up anyway to compare myself. Should have done a straight re-release.
