View Full Version : Stand-alone movies

Since there's not a sub-forum for the stand-alone movies (at least not yet), I figured I'd start a thread about them. I know Yoda and Boba Fett are supposed to be the first two to get their own movies, but looking way down the road, assuming the franchise keeps making money, which characters would you like to see get their own movies at some point? I'm not talking in 2018, or even 2028, but way down the line after all the logical choices have been run through. I'd personally like to see any of the Dejarik creatures, Hammerhead, Snaggletooth, Zuckuss and furry, human Jabba.
I think Greedo would be a cool character to follow...Maybe not in movie form, but if they did a live action TV series span on him, I wouldn't be against it. A day in the life of Admiral Ackbar wouldn't be bad either. :p

I'm guessing they'll do something with at least a few of the non-Fett bounty hunters at some point. I could see a bounty hunters TV series. Unfortunately, at the moment I'm seeing it on the Disney channel and it involves Bossk having uncontrollable gas and Dengar producing an online TV show in his basement that features him and IG-88 doing a lot of goof singing and dancing while Zuckuss engages in all sorts of ham-fisted, moronic attempts at humor. Although that may have something to do with the fact that my parents had Nickelodeon on the whole time we were there last night.

For stand alones, they would either have to do main characters, or other 'hero' characters or 'anti-hero' characters, just doing a stand alone for a background character such as a bartender or guy running down the hallway with an ice cream maker would be pointless.
