Was there any doubt? The quintet of cute, happy Jedi, aliens, and droids come armed to take your wallets. The idea of putting an entire adventure in a box is nothing new, nor is the idea of marketing Star Wars to a much younger audience. While it seems many kids didn't have a chance to buy these, the collectors that did sure as heck liked them, and even though this may have been a one-shot deal, there's no doubt that the likes of the mini-Millennium Falcon and the baby faced Darth Maul will be highlights of Star Wars collecting for years to come.

Runner Up: Unleashed

When first rumored as a limited collectible line dubbed "Generation Y," this was expected to be one of the year's worst. But somehow, Hasbro managed to do something unique and worthwhile. With Playskool capturing the essence of the characters and packaging for the four-year-old set, Unleashed does the same but goes for an older demographic-- the McFarlane, Sideshow, and similar figure fans. While the likenesses weren't always there, you could look at the figure and more often than not, it just radiated cool. Was there a single Darth Maul fan that was really disappointed that the face wasn't based on Ray Park? And was anybody looking at Padme's head in the first place? We rest our case.
