Sometimes you look back at a figure and say "wow, that was a good one." This C-3PO from Revenge of the Sith was one of those figures. New versions of C-3PO and a few other droids were based on this sculpt, which is one of the most authentic ones we\'ve seen in a while. If you haven\'t bought this figure already, is there hope for you? Read on!

While some figures didn\'t really work out on the first attempt, Ponda Baba looked good from day one. His head was appropriately large, he had glossy eyes and boots, and he wasn\'t too beefy for his design. In short, Kenner nailed it, and even 10 years later most fans think this is a great release. If you missed it, should you go back and get one like right now? Read on!

Today in Figure of the Day, we examine what seems to be Hasbro\'s favorite trooper-- at least by volume. This Sandtrooper was packaged with the first and so far only figure-sized Dewback back in 1997. With jointed knees, it quickly became a fan favorite, until fans realized other figures could have jointed knees as well. Is it worth it? Read on!

Speaking of droids, why not look at a real legend of the hobby? This R2-D2 with Holographic Leia came out in 1999, and many fans never even saw it. Nearly a decade later, nobody really cares, but at the time this was the figure everybody wanted. Were the new features it had worthy of all the attention, and should we care in 2008? By virtue of the line having more figures, there are a lot more bad figures. In today\'s Figure of the Day, we look at one of these completely unfun releases with Han Solo (Endor Raid). It\'s not easy to make a figure that\'s a pack-in, a unique sculpt, and not very good all at once-- but Hasbro did it with the Geonosian Pilot from 2003. It\'s a TIE Fighter! Sort of. Hasbro and Kenner tried out numerous concepts for the $9.99 figure price point, some of which were inspired, some of which were a cash grab, and some of which were obviously a sign of toy engineers trying to do something new and wonderful. An attempt at a great, cheap, vehicle-lite was made in 1998 when this little gem came out. Should you get it, or is this an item best left for the museums? Read on!
