Believe it or not, the 2007 McQuarrie Concept figures weren\'t the first produced in the modern toy line. Kenner cranked out three nifty vehicles with figures in 1998 including this Airspeeder Pilot. He\'s pretty tall, but once you get past that you should note that the figure has a solid sculpt and a top-notch paint job, especially in the face. So how many can I put you down for? Today in Figure of the Day we shift our focus to a mighty beast! The dinosaur-like Ronto came out in 1997 and was packaged with a Jawa. It\'s been pretty much off the market since the assortment dried up around 2000, but you can still get them on the collector\'s market. Should you? Read on!

It didn\'t sell too well in 2006, but people just freaking love Greedo. In today\'s Figure of the Day, we look at the arguably best-ever version of the figure. He\'s got a holster, loads of articulation, and a nice big head. What more could you ask for? Read on!

Today in Figure of the Day, we look at the 2004 re-release of the B\'Omarr Monk. This one had additional damage markings and a red "goo" in the jar, which made for a significantly different appearance from its ancestor. As part of a nifty pack of aliens, would you believe it\'s worth picking up anyway? Well, it is. Read on for more!

Today\'s Figure of the Day looks at one of the fan-favorites of 2007, the Pre-Cyborg Grievous. He was tall, had a lot of gear, and was a real pain in the neck to find. Even though he didn\'t make a heck of a lot of appearances in this form, he looks awesome. Should you go through the trouble to get one if you haven\'t already? Read on!

Around 2004, Hasbro really started their A-game when it came to making the best possible figures. In today\'s Figure of the Day, we look at one of their first attempts at a super-cool Darth Vader with this vintage release! He can wear his lightsaber on his belt, and has ball-jointed knees. This was pretty spiffy for 2004, but haven\'t we seen figures that sport more bells and whistles by now? Read on!

One of the most requested characters from the Kenner relaunch of Star Wars was Grand Moff Tarkin, and in today\'s Figure of the Day we look at his very first plastic incarnation. Today in Figure of the Day, we look at Luke Skywalker in his first-ever deluxe incarnation. This one is notable because it tweaked an existing figure and gave it a new vehicle-- a Desert Sport Skiff. While not too fancy, the vehicle looked almost like a lost release from the never-realized 1986 line of toys, as it fits right in with the increasingly diminished size of mini-rigs as the line went forward. As a toy from 1996, could this toy possibly be worth a moment of your time in 2008? Read on!

Today\'s Figure of the Day is a former Wal-Mart exclusive. Actually, it was pretty hard to get. This Han Solo in Stormtrooper disguise was part of a Trash Compactor screen scene that was overpriced and underarticulated. Despite being one of the worst values thrust upon us outside individually carded figure exclusives, it\'s pretty popular. So hot, in fact, it was almost reissued in 2004. Could this figure possibly be worth the hype? Sort of. Read on!

There were a lot of unique sub-collections in 2007, but few were as popular as the McQuarrie Concept series. This R2-D2 figure was part of the series, and a convention exclusive.
