Since its limited release in 1998, the Darktrooper has become the stuff of legend. In 2007, he saw a reissue. And now, you can get one-- but are the two any different? And is a Kenner figure with six points of articulation from 1998 any good in the 21st century? Read on!

In the past couple of days, democracy has shown us that what fans apparently really want is a lot more clones. Well, here\'s a Clone Trooper Lieutenant, a Wal-Mart exclusive Clone Trooper from 2003 that it seems absolutely nobody has made it a point to ask for a reissue of. Why not? It\'s blue, right? Isn\'t that enough? Read on!

All of Hasbro\'s "Vintage" figures are great, right? Well, as you\'ll read in today\'s Figure of the Day, not really. This Obi-Wan Kenobi had enhanced articulation and everything, but it was still a bit of a clunker. Sure, it looks nice in the package, but how\'s the actual toy? Read on!

The concept of trooper variants-- that is, multiple versions of a single figure SKU-- is nothing new. Hasbro pioneered this concept with a Battle Droid, and brought it back with the super-popular Scout Trooper during Power of the Jedi. You could pick from two flavors: clean, or dirty. This is the dirty one. Should you bring this dirty trooper home? Read on!

One disadvantage of making toys before a movie is done is the virtual guarantee of a character being edited out of the movie. (Bai Ling, anyone?) In today\'s Figure of the Day, we look at 2005\'s Mon Mothma, which is about as exciting as a figure based on a conservatively dressed redhed with no dialogue can be. Is her crown and pointer enough to entice you to pick this one up? Read on!

Today we look at what was once considered the highest summit in Star Wars toys. Darth Vader with Removable Helmet was a really big freaking deal back in 1998. Not only was it the first Vader with a helmet that comes off, but it was the first "updated" modern sculpt of the Sith lord, much less muscular than other modern releases. Nearly 10 years later, is it still awesome? Read on!

About ten years ago, Kenner made one of its biggest vehicles ever and packaged it with the AT-AT Driver. At the time, this was the only way you could get it, and it was a great figure. Today in Figure of the Day, let\'s look at was the first modern "improvement" on Han Solo. Back in 1997, this figure was considered a big improvement over the 1995 version, although in 2007, it doesn\'t seem all that much better. It was packaged with Jabba the Hutt, and it\'s a lot slimmer-- but is it good enough to buy if you\'re a new collector on a budget? Read on!

By and large, Hasbro has been good about making sure all figures are more or less affordable, although a few exclusive figures over the years have come with a $100 vehicle. This Biker Scout is one such figure, and it combines an older figure with a new head featuring a flip-up mask. Since Hasbro made a super-poseable version of the trooper with the same feature, is this one with a mere six points of articulation worth your time? Read on!

Typically, every new R2-D2 we see from Hasbro and Kenner brings something new to the table. Maybe it\'s a new feature, maybe it\'s a new paint job, or maybe it\'s an improved sculpt. This figure tried to do several new things, and it sort of sticks out like a sore thumb because most of them really didn\'t work too well.
