Today, we examine Shadows of the Empire action figure Luke Skywalker in Imperial Guard Disguise. A popular figure from 1996, this non-movie Luke has a removable helmet and an original design-- but is it worth adding to your stash of Expanded Universe toys? Read on!

Today\'s Figure of the Day looks at one of the harder to find figures from 2004, the Vintage Original Trilogy Collection C-3PO. With little articulation, odd "face" paint for his eyes, and a high price tag, was this figure at all worth it, or just part of a complete set? Read on!

A year ago, we were all marveling at Revenge of the Sith on the big screen, but a year and about three months ago, we were getting the first crack at Sneak Preview figures like the then-unknown Tion Medon, the head of Utapau and a nifty looking guy. Who, as it turned out, didn\'t have much of a role. Does he have what it takes to fill a role in your collection? Read on!

Who needs a vacation when there\'s Star Wars to write about? Take a break from hunting for the newest wave of Unleashed figures and read all about 2003\'s McQuarrie Concept Stormtrooper, the fourth Fan\'s Choice action figure! With great articulation, a glow-in-the-dark lightsaber, a gun and a holster for said gun, and a riot shield, is this a figure you just gotta have, or hype that takes the form of plastic? A lot of people commented on how Figure of the Day brings back old, good memories of collecting days gone by. Well, we don\'t mean for things to look rosy, and when we show you R5-D4 (Concealed Photon Launcher), reality will no doubt hit you like a sack of manure. Want to see why people were so excited about a new version of this droid? Read on!

What happens when you combine an attractive woman, red paint, and a chain mail bikini? Why, you add redd lekku (head tails) and you end up with Shakka, a great figure from Episode I! Packaged as one of three figures in the Watto\'s Box Cinema Scene set, she can do two things: sit, or stand. How wonderful to have options! As one of no less than five colorful Twi\'lek women, is this one you should add to your collection? Read on, true believer!

Oh, it\'s that time again! Today in Figure of the Day, we look at Darth Maul from the Tatooine Showdown Cinema Scene set. It was also packaged with an Anakin figure and a Qui-Gon Jinn, as well as a CommTech chip. (Remember those?) Anyway before the days of Unleashed, figures like this one ruled the roost when it came to extreme poses, great detail, and overall awesomeness. Do you need to read on to see how great it is? Probably not. But read on anyway to get a look at this wonder!

Inspired by a classic character (and his pappy), this great Jango Fett figure from 2002 is specially designed to be a pilot for the Slave I vehicle offered at the time. With his helmet off, a couple of guns, and a quick-draw attack, collectors gobbled him up. But in some areas, he pegwarmed like nobody\'s business. Do you have one? If not, what\'s your excuse? Today, Figure of the Day turns its all-seeing eye on Ewok. (Yes, that\'s its name.) From the Complete Galaxy Endor set, this figure came with a tiny replica of Endor-- the planet-- as a globe. Open it up, and you\'re treated to this figure and a tiny recreation of a battle in the forest moon. Seeing how few Ewoks have been made, is this a good a figure as any to add to your fuzzball armies? Read on!

Depending on where you stood, the Early Bird Kit of 2005 was either pure, distilled awesome or a lame, shark-jumping nostalgia ploy. (Or both.) While Hasbro has made numerous figures based on non-filmed events or unrealized concepts, none are quite as befuddling as Anakin Skywalker with Lightsaber from the tail end of 1999\'s POTF2 Flash Back Photo range. This figure comes with the lightsaber of Obi-Wan Kenobi, and was released a few months after a translucent "Spirit" version. Modeled after the mug of Sebastian Shaw, is this figure a worthy addition to your collection, or some bizarre homage to the 1984 Anakin Skywalker figure? Or something else? Read on!

We continue this series by moving to 1998, to look at one of the first figures based on the "modern" Expanded Universe: Dark Empire Luke Skywalker. Armed with the most generic lightsaber you\'ve ever seen and a gun to match, this long-haired Jedi Master gone bad came and went in a blink of an eye, and came out at a time where no figure, no matter how awesome, could easily be seen as a hit. Of course, today fans adore the Expanded Universe-- but do these figures deserve that adoration? Read on, take a look, and decide for yourself!
