This Hasbro Star Wars Q&A isn't exactly "pretty", but it's honest. The Comic 2-Packs series has a lot of product "dying on the vine", and collectors are pointing fingers. (When you point a finger there are three fingers pointing back at you.) So, Wookiees, another playset beg, and Aayla Secura. Let's go...
Galactic Hunter: You mentioned in a Q&A a few months ago that a new Wookiee character is coming in 2010. Is it Ralra from the Heir to the Empire comics, or perhaps Merumeru from Revenge of the Sith? — Shabby Blue, Proud Tree Hugger
Hasbro: Neither. Ralra was originally slated for a mainline Heir to the Empire Comic 2-Pack, paired with a Noghri Assassin. This pack has been pushed back and is slated to come out some time in 2011 if things go as planned. Merumeru is not in the lineup.
Galactic Hunter: I crossed over and bought the G.I. Joe Pit — which is one mighty toy. Obviously throwing scale out the window, could this type of design be used for a large wedge-shaped ship spanning the entire saga?
Hasbro: No, we would not follow this design for a Star Wars playset.
Galactic Hunter: In another past Q&A you stated that a new Aayla Secura figure missed the 2010 main line cut and may become an exclusive next year. Any update on this figure, or what particular version/costume we can expect? Is it possible to strike gold twice and ask to see a reference sketch? (Sorry, they're so cool.)
Hasbro: The exclusive that might have featured her did not materialize. We have a new Aayla Secura planned for the 2011 line. No sketches are available at this time.
