Some photos of the Red Leader X-Wing and Skirmish At Carkoon 4 pack packaging mock-ups have surfaced courtesy of Galactic spy "Desert Shore". We forewarn our loyal readers that these appear to be in the very early stages and not indicative of the final product.

Both have been reported on our earlier by our groovy Galactic Swami and are set to be Toys R Us exclusives for Spring '04. Projected pricepoints are $29.99 for the X-Wing and $19.99 for the Carkoon 4-pack.

X-Wing Fighter (Red Leader) - While the mock-up includes a Sandtrooper, we can probably expect a "Red Leader" X-Wing Pilot to be included with this set. The X-Wing is the already seen FX mold with updated color scheme to reflect Big Red's distinct markings. The question is, will Hasbro be extra grateful and also include Red Leader's nifty R5 droid in the mix? Inquiring minds want to know. In the meantime, you can pre-order yours at Toys R' Us today with an expected March 1st delivery.

Skirmish At Carkoon 4 Pack - The fifth of the exclusive TRU themed gift sets includes figures of Klaatu, Nikto, and Barada from '00's Skiff Guard Cinema Scene, the Sail Barge Cannon from '01's Deluxe Slave Leia, and what appears to be a kit-bashed Han Solo figure. We agree it could have been more exciting, but we'll hold final judgement until Pawlus scrutinizes it further in a review.
