Due to arrive in a few weeks, the second wave of Collection 2 figures from Hasbro features a double dose of Jedi Girl Power along with Kaminoan leader Lama Su and a clone child. As 2003 gets rolling, Hasbro hasn't let up with the quality of detail and sculpt of their 3 ¾ inch assortment. Not only are the figures themselves spectacular, but the pack-ins have been top notch. From creative interlocking terrain bases seen with the new Jedi to the clone child pack-in, you definitely get a little more value for your money.

When Dark Horse artist Jan Duursema first came up with the character of Jedi Knight Aayla Secura for the Darkness story arc in the Star Wars ongoing series, little did she realize that George Lucas would take a liking to the Blue Twi’lek enough to include her in Attack Of The Clones. The character of Aayla was inspired by Jan’s daughter, who wanted to see stronger female leads in her mom’s comics. At Celebration II last May, Hasbro’s David Vennemeyer was sculpting a wax prototype in front of fans and offering a glimpse of what lay ahead. David even had actress Amy Allen, who played the role of Aayla, sit for him so that he could capture even more detail. Judging from the head sculpt of the figure alone, Vennemeyer definitely hit his mark. Aayla sports 9 points of articulation, which allows her to be posed in various action stances. Her magnetic left hand force attracts the metallic hilt of her lightsaber and you can display the figure on the packed-in Geonosian Arena base. (Click here for more photos)

Jedi Padawan Barriss Offee features an aggressive battle action pose with a little attitude to match. A magnetic right hand allows her to force attract her lightsaber and ball jointed shoulders give the figure the ability to brandish her lightsaber in few different ways. Her cloak can be removed to reveal the hipster hairstyle you never thought she had to go with the nicely detailed decorative Tattoo markings on her face. Barriss comes with a Geonosian Arena base that you could connect to Aayla’s base if you are so inclined. (Click here for more photos)

The Prime Minister of Kamino stands proud over his little creation, unaware of the shrouded intentions of the mysterious party who commissioned the cloning project. Lama Su is noticeably taller than the previously released Taun We figure, whom many collectors pointed out as a little off scale when compared to the actual character in the film. The packed-in Clone Child is a great idea, since these figures offered as a two pack garners more interest than if they were carded separately. (Click here for more photos)

Aayla Secura, Barriss Offee, and Lama Su with clone youth is set for release late next month at your favorite retailer. Check out even more photos by clicking the thumbnails above or visiting our Image Bank. Enjoy!
