Bio: A scoundrel through and through, Han Solo nonetheless adheres to a deep sense of right and wrong. He couldn't leave his new friends behind to what he felt was certain death. Though some might call his arrival at the Battle of Yavin late, he prefers to say that he was "just in time." (Taken from the figure's cardback.)

Commentary: Initially thought to be an existing 2004 Vintage figure with a new head and hands, it turned out that this Han Solo had a fair amount of new sculpting on his person. While the head now features a communications unit and a new expression, and the hands have gloves, Hasbro also put a lot of work into the arms and legs. The elbows are now cut joints rather than ball joints, which most fans would agree is a step down. The legs no longer feature ankle joints which, again, most fans would agree is a step down. The figure still has a holster, and while it's similar to the 2004 Vintage Han Solo, it's not as good. For what it is, it's still neat because it's a figure uniquely designed for the ship and it does look pretty cool overall, it's just not the best of the Han figures. It's a good figure, especially at a lower price, but fans looking for the absolutely best Han will want to keep looking.

Collector's Notes: Initially released in 2007, this figure is also packaged with the 2008 Millennium Falcon toy. In 2007, a variant "Ultimate Galactic Hunt" version was released-- the action figure is the same, but the coin was changed to gold and the logo on the packaging is now a gold foil looking thing.
