Hasbro offers up more Attack Of The Clones characters for the first wave of Saga 12" figures for 2003. The packaging has been updated a little, with less swirly stuff along with better materials to reinforce the box. The background insert has also been changed to a more generic design instead of being scene based. This assortment includes a new version of Anakin Skywalker, Padme Amidala, and a Geonosian Warrior.

Anakin Skywalker (With Slashing Lightsaber Action)

Featuring a battle ready scowl and some "swinging" action (activated by moving a small peg on his back), this version of the wayward padawan hints a little more darkness. A removable right arm can be changed to his robotic limb seen at the end of the film. Anakin also comes with two lightsabers. (Hasbro Direct, $19.99, January 2003)

Padme Amidala

The heroic Senator from Naboo comes with her signature white jumpsuit, Naboo blaster, and a Battle Droid blaster. This is the first time the character has been included in the main 12" assortment, having been offered previously in her own signature collections for Episode 1 (Portrait and Amidala). Hasbro tried something different with her hair bun, using bendy material instead of "real" hair. (Hasbro Direct, $19.99, January 2003)

Geonosian Warrior

An all new sculpt and molded into ugly perfection, the Geonosian Warrior is accessorized with a battle staff. Sporting some nice articulation on his wings, the figure is arena battle ready and makes a great addition to the 12" Saga line. (Hasbro Direct, $19.99, January 2003)
