Star Wars Comes to the Disney Store

The Disney Store has summoned a group of fans, collectors, and media people to Glendale, CA to see a bunch of cool stuff - I'll be writing some of it up later, but I was handed a USB stick with some photos of new Disney Store exclusive product - some of which is in stores now - and some of which is plastic.  Check some of it out after the jump.

A soft launch (figuratively and literally) took place in March with cloth items hitting The Disney Store nationwide.  Clothing, lunch boxes, plush, and other unique items were stocked alongside a few Hasbro vehicles and The Black Series action figures in both sizes.

This R2-D2 is in stores now for under $10.  It's notable in that it has an articulated head - this is very unusual for the price point, and uncommon in plush in general.

This plush Vader, I didn't notice.  The plastic items below weren't in the store either. Kid-sized outfits and some roleplay items were on deck, so you'll enjoy taking your kids to see those.  And by your kids, of course, I mean you while your significant other is busy at New York & Co. or Sears.

These talking action figures are going to be $29.99 each, but I do not have a size to share at this time.  As you can see the product mix focuses on the original Star Wars film, but sports the current Revenge of the Sith branding.
