CVI: Disney And Carbon Freeze Me

By Mike — Sunday, August 26, 2012

The Disney booth was ripe with activity as Celebrationers clamored for their Star Wars meets Mouse themed exclusives. Their Holographic Leia Vinylmation that was limited to 2,500 pieces sold out by Saturday.

But the exclusive which was still readily available but probably of more interest was the Starspeeder 1000 and 3000 die-cast 2 pack which comes in cool 25th anniversary packaging and mini theme park poster back drops set against each vehicle.

The Carbon Freeze Me line had virtually no wait on Saturday afternoon. Yours truly was signed up scanned and on his way in about 15 minutes. The actual Carbonite block is expected to arrive on my doorstep in a few weeks and while it wasn't quite the grand bargain at $100 plus shipping, how could I resist?

Droid Factory Poster 2012 posters were being handed out, and if you haven't already checked out Adam's article from the Disney panel on Thursday and you're a West Coaster, you'll be ecstatic to know that Build-a-Droid will be coming to Disneyland Anaheim in 2013 along with more parts.
