So I got the new Amazon Exclusive Vintage Collection TIE Interceptor here, and the big question I've been hearing - a lot - is "is it different?" The answer is yes, actually - the plastic color is different enough from other movie versions of the ship to be notable, so let's find out more.

It's here! Amazon's TIE Interceptor is in stock and ready to ship right now, with many orders having processed and gone out the door.  It's similar to a previously-released model, with a few minor deco differences and a new box.  How different is it?

After almost a year of waiting since it was teased at Celebration VI in Orlando last year, we finally started to get our Amazon exclusive The Vintage Collection jumbo Slave I vehicle. It's 20-inches long, almost 50% bigger than the previous releases of Boba's vehicle, and has more features than ever. One of these features is a rotating wings and a gravity-centered pilot's station inside the cockpit, and in the 2010 The Clone Wars Rise of Boba Fett Battle Pack it worked great. This new version needs some work - a bad spring prevents things from locking properly. Want to fix it? Go get a Phillips head screwdriver, an old clicky pen, and read on.

A few of you have written in because your Amazon Exclusive The Vintage Collection Boba Fett's Slave I vehicle has arrived! But here's the thing - some of them are showing up in a nice Hasbro-made white mailer box, and others, well, aren't.

Comic-Con International gets underway with their customary Wednesday evening Preview night, where four day pass holders, special guests, and press are able to get in early with theoretically less foot traffic and snippet what's on the convention floor. The ToysRUs exclusive The Vintage Collection Endor AT-AT came in a few weeks early, and it couldn't have arrived soon enough with the current doldrum and lack of new Hasbro product we're experiencing in stores.

Yakface.com has the scoop - the missing Return of the Jedi edition The Vintage Collection AT-AT is hitting Toys R Us!  The vehicle has slightly different deco with Endor mud and a unique AT-AT Driver action figure which is the only one ever made to feature black gloves.

The Jedi Temple Archives are reporting that Gordmans received the hard-to-find 2012 Naboo Starfighter vehcle wave.  Never heard of Gordmans?  You aren't alone, as they are in only 18 states and not necessarily the most densely populated ones.  All 3 vehicles from the wave showed up for $19.99 each.

A ToysRUs exclusive Vintage Collection Empire Strikes Back packaged version was also released during the holiday season of that year, and quickly sold out at a $110 pricepoint.
