Hasbro's PR team kindly sent along a press release with many new and some neewish exclusives! More are coming this fall, but for now, here's a look at what you can expect on (or around) Friday, September 30. None of the 3 3/4-inch figure exclusives are listed here, but 6-inch, prop replicas, Nerf guns, and more await you after the jump.

This video (thanks, friend of the site and also me Shaunputer) by Bright Sun Films gives all of us a quick update to the rise and subsequent fall of Target in Canada. Apparently, Canada is not conducive to selling at retail. If you can't find figures in the Great White North, or just want to know what the fuss was about, go watch this. It's entertaining.

In "news that can scare youse" news, Target stores have a $29.99 3-pack of 12-inch (1:6 scale) droid action figures from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.  Given no prior publicity or announcement, these sets include R0-4L0, C-3PO, and BB-8 - not a bad deal.  However, don't limit your search to the toy department - I found all of these sets and other toys in the DVD/movie/Blu-Ray section on an endcap.  Happy hunting!

Just in 2013, Target made waves by announcing they were moving in to Canada and supplanting Zellers. And now? Not. News reports confirm the big red dot is leaving the Great White North effective pretty much nowish. Basically, the roll-out was supposedly too fast with prices that were higher than anticipated. Will this mean US Target exclusives will go back to English-only packaging? We shall see!

That was fast! If you ordered your Imperial Shadow Squadron set at Target.com on Wednesday, you might have it waiting at your front door today - mine arrived already in a nice big box (albeit with a couple of dents on the packaging).  It looks pretty slick, and if you didn't get an order in don't worry - it should be in stores very soon!

For those who missed the boat, the set includes a Scout Trooper, Sandtrooper Shadow Stormtrooper Commander, and Speeder Bike in black.

There aren't many big exclusives left for 2014, but you can cross one off your list today! Target.com has the Star Wars The Black Series Imperial Shadow Squadron Pack in stock for $50.00 plus free shipping.  Unless you're up for playing a round of clearance chicken, you can save yourself a lot of post-holiday anguish by ordering yours now.

The Black Series 6 and 3.75 inch assortments have also been spotted at Target stores in Southern California. That's two places to start hitting, hunters. The 6 inch series is only shipping one case per store, and at 1 per case, will be tough finding during these early shipments. Any reports for Walmart or K-Mart?
