Reader Brad wrote in to inform us that his local Five Below store - unknown and unavailable to many of us in these United States - continues to get The Vintage Collection figures we all crave like Darth Malgus for five dollars... or below.  Thanks for writing in, Brad, and curse all of you who have access to this fantastic sounding store!

Amazon has been marking down - and up - and down - a lot of toys over the last few days.   Right now, the Vintage Collection Slave I at $35 and Vintage Collection TIE Interceptor at $25 are about as low as we've ever seen them.  Droid Factory figures are back up to $35 - cheaper, but not as low as the $15 last week.

Numerous action figures are down to about $3-$5, and not just Star Wars - Batman 1966, Star Trek Kre-O, DC and other Mattel Batman figures, and Transformers are getting cut too.  Click through to see more.

Lots of new toys have been showing up in Galactic Hunter HQ! In what I can only assume is to make early adopters who paid $59.99 not a month and change ago feel as foolish as possible, Amazon cut the price on the  Star Wars Legacy Collection Droid Factory Action Figure 6-Pack to a mind-blowing-but-why-stop-now $23.99.  Black Series figures ($11.99 Greedo) and other items also received deep cuts, and since we're going to go ahead and say this qualifies as news, you'll see more of them after the jump.

Ad: While you probably don't need more Black Series 6-Inch Sandtrooper Action FIgures, Amazon has them for $11.24 $10.12 - the best price I've seen yet.  The armor is largely removable and I assume the dirt comes off, so customizers/troop builders/clearance finders - this is the time to order some Sandtroopers!

I can tell you're excited - we're going to round out Toys R Us' latest exclusives (and take a break) with Clone Captain Deviss, a redeco of a figure that was a redeco of another figure.  He has a name now!  How about that?  Should you care?  Read on! 

Available at a Toys R Us near you right now, Selig Kenjenn (not Zelig, I don't think) is shown being at the Battle of Geonosis.  Except he wasn't there - the character is based on a piece of art depicting Holocron-keeper Leland Chee as a Jedi, which had TIE Fighters in the background.  As such, it's less an essential movie collectible than it is a bizarrely neat trivia question for people like you and me who live and breathe this stuff.  Read on!
