Special thanks to Hasbro and their PR team for sending us this first look at Galen Erso, a character from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.  (If you haven't seen it yet and consider this a spoiler, a month out, that's on you.)  He includes a blaster and a Mouse Droid, which is a pretty nifty extra for those of us looking to populate that Death Star playset.  The one we hope to get some day.  Hopefully.  Well, take a look - we've got a packaged shot and an unpackaged shot after the break.

You might not want another Captain Phasma, but this 3 3/4-inch one is interesting - it comes from Vietnam and not China, meaning we're talking new molds here.  The deco is different, the height has changed, and some of the sculpted details were tweaked - but she has basically the same pose and design.  Finn's even more interesting, but he's on tap for next week.  Read on!

The hard-to-find Princess Leia Organa from the 6-inch line is pretty good.  With any luck she'll get a little more distribution later in the year, but for now she's available in an assortment with 5 other new figures that is a little tough to come by.   Read on!

What's this?  Another C2-B5?  Yup!  One was from Disney, this one is from Hasbro. Their colors are just different enough so that they look like different droids, so I'd say you'd want to get both.  Or you would, if it didn't require the purchase of the AT-ACT.  (It's expensive.)  Read on!

This smaller Captain Cassian Andor is exclusive to Walmart, and includes a swell three-piece weapon that serves as a pistol or a rifle.  It also has a head sculpt that looks great with stubble that could maybe look great if you painted it better.  I like this one a bunch.  Read on!

Walmart's exclusive 3 3/4-inch Scarif Stormtrooper is pretty good.  I've seen quite a few around in the last couple of days, and that means - I assume - there's an ample supply.  It has thigh swivels, a cool blaster, and some excellent battle damage - did you get yours yet, and should you buy a bunch?  Read on!

This Sergeant Jyn Erso is pretty cool - Walmart's 3 3/4-inch super-articulated figure actually has a slightly different costume than the non-exclusive version.  There's a missing jacket under her vest - this is one of the many costume changes in Rogue One.   If you're on the fence about this figure, don't be - she's got a lot of articulation, a sniper rifle, and a unique costume - read on!

Currently exclusive to Kmart, Jyn Erso has not only an exclusive base, but an exclusive figure with unique accessories.  You won't find this costume anywhere else at this scale just yet, and there's no companion figure just yet.  Is it worth tracking down one of the twelve remaining Kmarts to find this figure?  Read on!

Hey kids, it's Director Krennic!  The 6-inch figure has a cool gun, a nice cape, and a surprisingly good sculpt.   He's also showing up a lot more lately - you might find this one in stores now!  Read on.

This 6-inch 501st Legion Clone Trooper is in a gift set at Entertainment Earth right now!  It's pretty amazing - the damage deco is some of Hasbro's best, and the blue markings are indeed blue.   Read on for more!

This 6-inch C-3PO just hit this year, sporting a red arm from The Force Awakens.  There are two flavors of cherry arms - this is the brighter of the two.  There's one with two golden arms exclusive to Walgreens, hitting wider distribution as I type this.   Have you found yours yet?   Should you get this one?  Read on!

Walmart's 6-inch Scarif Stormtrooper is a lot like its exclusive 3 3/4-inch version.  Heck, it seems if you need one, Walmart.com still has a few.     It's a nice figure, with good deco, and you probably wish you could get more of it.  Such is the state of army builders in the Disney era.  Read on!

The reality of the Death Trooper may not be as cool as the mystery box provided to us by the marketing, but the armor design is pretty cool.  It has two blasters, Darth Vader's belt buckle, and a height above that of normal troopers.   Should you pick up this 6-inch Imperial trooper?  I assume you already have, but read on!
