This Boba Fett looks a lot like the 2007 Animated Debut version, but it isn't.  Well, it's close-- it was supposed to be redecorated, but Hasbro gave this one an accessory transplant.  Worth a look?  Read on!

Back in 1999 and 2000, Hasbro really cranked out a lot of Jar Jar Binks figures.  Some had great head sculpts, some... well, some were like this.  He looks bored, doesn't have jointed legs, and the paint is basically OK.  Should you bother?  Read on!

This Saga Legends Sandtrooper is one of my favorites.  It's a good mold with a great paint wipe, which resulted in a stunning figure which people actually still want today.  (Unreal, I know.)  You should get one-- so read on!

So hey, it's Warok, in theory.  It looks a little like the vintage 1980s action figure, although the coloring is different from what we saw on the old Kenner cardback.  It seems like, for now, this is probably the only modern Warok we'll get-- is he worth it?  Read on!

As we at Galactic Hunter begin coverage of our twelfth, respective, Hasbro event at Toy Fair, we are awestruck by the breadth of the modern line, as it continues to expand into its 16th year! [Some collectors have had children who couldn't even play with action figures graduate high school by now!]

The official Toy Fair presentation images from Hasbro have been added to our Image Bank as we work through our "on the scene shots". Some figures like Bastilla Shan were not on display, so the official image is the only way to see her. Also note that Barris Offee will have a plastic cloak, not the soft goods version shown. (The aesthetic did not quite match the look Hasbro desired.)

A few notes on this afternoon's Hasbro presentation:

The big news announcement, especially for Vintage Collection fans is the specially carded Revenge of the Jedi cardbacks featuring the unproduced title and logo for Episode VI. There will be 12 figures carded with this logo including a new Slave Leia, B-wing Pilot, Death Star Luke. These will not be considered chase Galactic Hunt figures and should be readily available in retail.

Hasbro loves upgrades, and this Obi-Wan Kenobi takes a good figure and makes it even better by adding cloth robes plus jointed knees and ankles.  Packaged with your choice of vehicles, it's a great, great figure you really need to get for piloting purposes.  Read on!

He had to come up eventually!  Jabba the Hutt  was the most sought-after exclusive of late summer 2010, and today?  Half price.  Life just isn't fair, but even if you paid full price for this guy, I expect you'll like it.  Want to see more?  Read on!

A holdover from Wave 2 Revenge of the Sith, Yoda gets remixed somewhat in Wave 5. Featuring a vastly improved repainted head sculpt from the 2007 Kybruck figure along with that version's torso, Vintage Yoda sports new swivel jointed arms and ball jointed shoulders and knees. The cloak also fits nicely, and as Adam Pawlus noted in this week's Q&A, lacks a hood and features some Dagobah like weathering. In whole, it's a great figure and we really like the inclusion of The Force blast/shield accessory.

While we just got a pretty nice vintage version of this figure, it's worth noting that this Super Battle Droid has ball-jointed ankles.  And this one came from last year, too!  Should you track down this Target exclusive?  Read on!
