Having quickly dispatched the trials of Qui-Gon Jinn on Dagobah, Yoda leaves the world of 21st century science fiction and enters a series of prog rock album covers while dabbling in themes that aren't standard kid show fare. Five priestesses guide the Jedi master through the journey, effectively acting as the sequel to the storyline featuring the Son a few years ago. Read on!

Yoda gets to be the center of attention as he starts hearing Voices. A little bit of dialogue from Revenge of the Sith gets extrapolated and moved around a bit, with Yoda encountering suspicion from the Jedi council and Anakin's proclivity toward dumping on authority start off what may well be one of the more important - or at least interesting - stories of this entire series. The Clone Wars slows down a bit with The Rise of Clovis. While we've had some of these themes played out before, we get to see a bit more of Anakin and Padme's "marriage" plus a really cool backstory for Clovis, which gives us limited insight into cultures in galaxies far, far away. Read on!

The Clone Wars continues in Galactic Hunter Video Theater with An Old Friend the good news is that it's a new arc. The bad news? It's a Padme arc, and Clovis is back from season 2. On the bright side, Anakin is along for the ride, as is Embo and his pet - but jealousy rears its ugly head yet again and apparently being married with a kid isn't enough for a Jedi, but whatever. The Clone Wars on Netflix on Galactic Hunter Video Theater continues with: Fugitive, which comes complete with the same scenery as last week, with even more Clones and flying whales and reminders of that final prequel. It's a lot more fun than the last episode, if for no reason other than to see a clone play detective. The whole "soldier" rhetoric wears thin, but it's a good time so read on!

We're back? I'm surprised too! Welcome to the temporary return of Galactic Hunter Video Theater as we look at the encore of The Clone Wars on Netflix. This week's story: The Unknown, in which exposition happens and fan-favorite Admiral Trench returns! We'll look at one episode per week until supplies (or authors) are exhausted, so let's dive back into the prequel era for what may well be one final round of stories.

This week on The Clone Wars: Events are shown to have actual consequences with The Wrong Jedi. Like last season's final arc, we see events actually cause big changes to the Clone Wars storyline, with actual weight, things that matter, and a reason to tune in for a change. This week on The Clone Wars: Ahsoka is on the run some more in "To Catch a Jedi." Unlike many episodes of the series, this one is actually really exciting, giving us a chance to look at the lower levels of Coruscant (and we get so close to level 1313) as we get glimpses into just who (probably) really did set up the Jedi temple bombing a couple of weeks ago. While we don't meet many new characters, old familiar faces are back and will continue to make you mad that Hasbro isn't making more toys of these designs. Spoilers and video after the break.
