While most figures are sold out in my neck of the woods, if you're lucky enough to stumble on new The Force Awakens action figures you're likely to find Finn. He's one of the new major players in the movie, and like the rest we really don't know all that much about why he's there or what he's going to be doing. It's a decent looking action figure, though. The First Order TIE Fighter Pilot looks a heck of a lot like the Imperial TIE Fighter Pilot - same basic colors, same basic layout. It's less bulky, though, and other differences make this one an interesting take on the figure we've all crammed in vehicles since the first one in 1982. Read on!
They can't all be winners, but this figure is crucial if you want to assemble the Jungle cluster of "Combine Weapons." The Luke Skywalker (Bespin / Jungle, The Force Awakens) is a perfectly nice figure, but a) you probably own it, and b) the backpack isn't enough to make the new, added backpack hole very interesting. It may also amuse you to know that the backpack has more joints than the action figure. Read on!
While same figure/different weapons are popping up, so far there's only one 3 3/4-inch Captain Phasma. There's also a 6-inch one - but that's hard to find so far. She's tall, she's silver, but - surprisingly - only her chest is painted. The limbs and head are molded in a silvery plastic. Read on!
