Figure of the Day

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,368: R2-A3 (The Black Series)

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, May 10, 2017

Seemignly not painted exactly right, R2-A3 is still a pretty nice 6-inch-scale droid.   He has pop-open panels with arms, special gear, and probably the wrong color of dome, unless there are props in the archives I'm unaware of, which is possible but probably undocumented.  He was in a 3-pack last year, and it's probably gone from a store near you.  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,367: First Order Snowtrooper Officer (The Force Awakens)

By Adam Pawlus — Monday, May 8, 2017

It came out about a year ago, but it's time to look at the First Order Snowtrooper Officer!  I've got some new guys to open and review too, but this week's all set up with a redeco of a guy you probably have enough of by now.  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,366: Snap Wexley (The Force Awakens)

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, May 3, 2017

By now you probably already passed on Snap Wexley, but you can probably find him on sale somewhere with a Snowtrooper Officer on the cheap.  He has a ridiculous grappling hook gun and a less ridiculous pistol, so check it out. Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,365: First Order Stormtrooper (The Force Awakens Value 6-Inch Figures)

By Adam Pawlus — Monday, May 1, 2017

You probably will never see this "value" First Order Stormtrooper, at least not in its original packaging.  It was sold in Mexico and Australia.  The simplified 6-inch tall figure has 4 joints and looks cool on a shelf next to your other figures... but it's not a The Black Series figure.  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,364: Darth Maul (The Force Awakens 6-Inch Value Figures)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, April 27, 2017

Here's another one you probably don't have - this Darth Maul I've seen only a couple of times, and mostly at Big Lots! so far.  But they're not doing a lot of restocking here, so the 6-inch $6 figure is something you may want to chase down.   Why?  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,363: Rey (The Force Awakens 6-Inch Value Figures)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, April 25, 2017

Hey  hey, it's Rey!  This value 6-inch figure might be at Big Lots, Family Dollar, or Dollar General in the USA for $6 or $7.   She has a lightsaber with a removable blade, 4 points of articulation, and not a lot of paint - but hey, what do you want for $6?   If you can find her, get her, and read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,362: Imperial AT-ACT Driver (The Black Series)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, April 20, 2017

The Imperial AT-ACT Driver is pretty cool - and at least locally, Hasbro shipped a bunch of this exclusive to Target stores.  I'm still seeing them this week!  It's basically the same as the Scarif Stormtrooper with new deco, but to me that's a pretty valid reason to buy a figure.

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,361: Darth Vader (40th Anniversary / The Black Series)

By Adam Pawlus — Monday, April 17, 2017

This 6-inch Darth Vader comes with a cool display base and as such, costs more than an average figure.  It's nifty!  Hasbro included details on the helmet you don't normally see on their Darth Vader toys.  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,360: R2-F2 (The Black Series)

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, April 12, 2017

Biggs' droid R2-F2 has a new name - and slightly different deco!  Droid stuff seems to change under the new regime, but the one thing that never changes is that this is a repaint.  Did you get yours?  As 6-inch figures go, it's pretty sharp.  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,359: Finn (The Force Awakens Value 6-Inch)

By Adam Pawlus — Monday, April 10, 2017

I'd bet that you don't have this particular Finn figure.   I got it from Mexico, it was also sold in Australia and presumably a few other countries - but not the USA.   It's a 6-inch "value" figure, and that The Force Awakens premiere assortment from 2005 hasn't shipped here.  Finn has 4 joints and a black blaster in his fist - is he nifty enough to buy?  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,358: Imperial Hovertank Pilot (Rogue One Line Look)

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, April 5, 2017

Check out the 3 3/4-inch Imperial Hovertank Pilot!  It's pretty sweet.  You didn't miss the tank, because as of yet there isn't one - maybe it'll appear in a future movie line.  At least you've got a pilot to staff it if/when it ever comes!  Read on.

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,357: First Order Snowtrooper (The Force Awakens Value 6-Inch)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, April 4, 2017

This 6-inch First Order Snowtrooper is not the Black Series figure - it has only 4 joints and was sold outside the USA.  It's neat!  Hopefully Hasbro brings it over hear some day, for now it's eBay or bust.  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,356: Saw Gerrera (Rogue One Line Look)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, March 30, 2017

It's Saw Gerrera! Exclusive to the Jedha Revolt 4-pack, this figure is loaded with detail, big hair, and a couple of accessories.  If you didn't get one, you'll probably be sorry in a couple of years.  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,355: Edrio Two Tubes (Rogue One Line Look)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, March 28, 2017

As named on the Jedha Revolt box, Edrio Two Tubes is a pretty good action figure.  He can stand and sit, he has exquisite sculpting - the head in particular - and he has superior painting.  The deco may not be entirely as accurate or as dark as the character in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, but he does have the pilot equipment and rfile you're going to want.  Hopefully you track this one down and don't miss it, because he's part of a worthwhile set.  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,354: Chirrut Imwe (Rogue One Line Look)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, March 23, 2017

Coming soon to home video!  Chirrut Imwe was one of the surprise stars of Rogue One last year, and the 3 3/4-inch figure might be in a store near you - or not, it's hard to know.   Read on!
