It's a Kenner-style figure with a sculpt that looks like it came out of 1983 and a furry cape that's clever, yet unlike anything I can point to from the original toy line. I really like these guys, but they're not for everybody - if you have a big actual vintage Kenner toy stash in your toy box, these are some of the best things I've bought in ages.  Plus she has a giant hammer for smashing Stormtrooper heads. Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Boba Fett (Morak, The Retro Collection). This is one of my favorite figures in years - it incorporates elements of the 1979 Kenner figure, like his unique backpack design, while also modernizing it with an all-new but still appropriately retro helmet sculpt and coloring. If you're in your 40s - or maybe late 30s - this could be a fun throwback to put with your other childhood toys. I don't know if younger fans will flock to this one, but it hasn't left my general workspace since getting it nearly a month ago. I'd strongly recommend it if Kenner toys were ever on your wish list as a child. Read on!

It's a repaint of the 2010 movie figure, which captures the spirit of the 1985 original which was also a movie repaint. The chest panel doesn't close perfectly, but he has a coin, he looks cool, and you may find him in a Target right now. Read on!

It's a Walmart exclusive figure you just got, with lots of extra gear, and I'd say it's a better figure - get this one to open, skip opening the carded one. She has a poncho, critter pals, and other gear. Read on!

It's a figure painted to look sort of like the repaint of a castle at a theme park, except the droid is clear for some reason. It's a bizarre but distinctive looking figure, and arguably the kind of thing that's more interesting as a weird collectible toy than something from the Star Wars galaxy. Read on!

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Anakin Skywalker (Outlander Peasant Disguise 2021 Redux, The Vintage Collection). Time is not always kind to reissues - he came up a little short back in 2011, and by today's standards doesn't look great. The poncho is much worse, the figure deco is slightly better, and the sculpting is still as good as it ever was. It's not an essential upgrade, but there are a few improvements that may interest you (as long as you keep the original 2011 poncho handy.) Read on!

It's a repaint of a fairly old figure, and it arguably looks a little better - but, again, it is a figure from 2011. The belt has a place to hang his communicator and his lightsaber is cool, but should you track one down online? Read on!

Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Ahsoka Tano (Corvus, The Vintage Collection). She's awesome! This is the mass-retail release, Walmart has an exclusive version. This figure has one of Hasbro's very best head sculpts, with amazing paint and tip-top articulation. Even if you're not an Ahsoka fan (and you should be one), I'd suggest getting this figure (or playing with a friend's) to see just how far Hasbro has come in making these figures truly amazing in recent waves. Via the Star Wars Galactic Hunter Figure of the Day Blog: Death Watch Mandalorian (The Vintage Collection). It's a new sculpt and one of Habsro's very best. The range of motion is great, the center of gravity is good, and the joints move pretty freely so you won't feel "stuck" in a weird position. You'll love it. Buy an army. Read on!

This is one of the better figures - great likeness, excellent articulation, this is a figure that shows considerable improvement over the figures we got just five to ten years ago. You should get this one - it's a good character, a good costume, and a fantastic figure that will put a lot of other releases to shame. Read on!
