I can tell you're excited - we're going to round out Toys R Us' latest exclusives (and take a break) with Clone Captain Deviss, a redeco of a figure that was a redeco of another figure.  He has a name now!  How about that?  Should you care?  Read on

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,057: Battle Droid (2013 Legacy Collection Droid Factory)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, November 14, 2013

Did we need another Battle Droid, even if it's based on the exceptional Vintage design from 2012?  Probably not - the figure, despite being cool, has proven unpopular in its various toy forms.  Amazon's exclusive version includes a TC-70 part, which makes it much more essential for your toy box.  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,056: FA-4 (2013 Legacy Collection Droid Factory)

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, November 13, 2013

Let's look at FA-4, the sole newly-tooled figure in Amazon's Legacy/Droid Factory boxed set.  I'm pleased to report that it's pretty great - expensive, sure, but such is life these days for the Star Wars collector.  Want to know more?  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,055: Sandtrooper (2013 Legacy Collection Droid Factory)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, November 12, 2013

If this Amazon-exclusive Droid Factory Sandtrooper looks vaguely familiar, it should - Hasbro dusted off the really cool 2012 release, changed the pauldron, altered the mud, and gave him a droid part.  And presto! New figure.  At retail odds are you'd be swarming to get this, but as part of an online exclusive set with no real cohesion, it's probably going to be collector-only.  Ah well! You're missing out.  Read on!

Hasbro's Star Wars The Vintage Collection Slave I Back on Amazon

By Adam Pawlus — Friday, November 8, 2013

Many of you  have written in lamenting the vanishing Boba Fett's Slave I Vintage jumbo vehicle on Amazon on and off over the last week and change.  As of right now it's in stock for $69.99, so if you were waiting go ahead and grab it.  And the Droid Factory set.   And the TIE Interceptor.  And maybe some Black Series figures.  For the first time in months, there are actually new things to buy!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,050: Clone Commander Ponds (Battle of Geonosis: Jedi Knights)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, November 5, 2013

For some reason, it's Clone Commander Ponds!  A redecorated version of the once-nameless Clone Trooper Officer figure has retconned Mr. Ponds to the Battle of Geonosis. The yellow is a little different, and he has different accessories than previous yellow clones based on the 2003 Clone Wars movie-style mold... but should you buy it?  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,049: Roan Shryne (Battle of Geonosis: Jedi Knights)

By Adam Pawlus — Monday, November 4, 2013

Was he in the movie?  Well, he was in a few novels, so Hasbro managed to sneak out Roan Shryne as an action figure in the just-released Toys R Us exclusive Gunship packs.  You'll probably want to snag it if you're a book fan, and if not, well, it's still movie-ish enough for my liking.   Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,048: Sarissa Jeng (Battle of Geonosis: Jedi Knights)

By Adam Pawlus — Friday, November 1, 2013

Lady Jedi toys are uncommon, so Sarissa Jeng is pretty exciting to see.  Her legs are recycled, but the rest of her seems new despite being similar to Ki-Adi-Mundi.  The actress in stills looks quite cute - how is the figure?  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,047: Sephjet Josall (Battle of Geonosis: Jedi Knights)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, October 31, 2013

I assume people must really love Sephjet Josall, because I saw someone swap out the figure for a Qui-Gon at a Toys R Us this afternoon.  (May an elephant sit upon your house.)   Based on a background extra in Attack of the Clones, this is a Luke figure with a new "skirt" and a new head - and it works! Nicely done.  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,040: Stemzee (Ewok Assault Catapult)

By Adam Pawlus — Tuesday, October 22, 2013

I've been engaged in Stemzee cell research! This new furball comes from Kmart's new and possibly in-your-local-store Kmart exclusive Ewok Assault Catapult.

Check it out - it's Chubbray!  He/she is a new Ewok from the Kmart Ewok Assault Catapult, possibly at a store near you as you read this.  Click here to read all about it!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,037: Imperial Technician (Death Star Scanning Crew)

By Adam Pawlus — Thursday, October 17, 2013

OK, so today we're looking at the new-for-2013 Imperial Technician (Death Star Scanning Crew).  It looks a lot like the 2009 figure, with some deco changes - and since it's a trooper, a slight difference is enough for me to qualify this as a new figure worth your while.  I am easy.  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,036: Imperial Technician (Imperial Scanning Crew)

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, October 16, 2013

There are two of them! Today it's the Imperial Technician (Imperial Scanning Crew), or to the layman, "this is the one with the new head and missing parts."  You'll want this one - he's loaded with new gear and a head that's a tad too small.
