To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back, LEGO Systems, Inc. and Lucasfilm Ltd. are summoning the force of LEGO® and STAR WARS fans and families to participate in a three-day collaborative build of an eight-foot tall, 15-foot wide LEGO mystery mural to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The mural will be constructed by attendees of Star Wars Celebration V and a LEGO Master Builder at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center from August 13-15.

Five of the largest Star Wars collecting clubs in the US are pleased to announce a set of five themed patches for Star Wars Celebration 5.  Theparticipating clubs are The Washington DC Area Star Wars Collecting Club (DCSWCC), The Kentucky Star Wars Collectors Club (KSWCC), The Ohio Star WarsCollectors Club (OSWCC), The Pennsylvania Star Wars Collecting Society (PSWCS), and the Star Wars Grand Florida Alliance (SWGFA).  The five triangular embroidered patches, each sponsored by one of the clubs, fit together like a puzzle to form a larger image of Boba Fett, the show's de facto mas

There was noticeably a greater confluence of Emma Frosts and Red Queens this year than Amidalas and Leias (except for the Slave variety). But Comic-Con still showed its muscle and staying power, though its future in San Diego remains uncertain.

An unusually overcast and drizzly morning in America's Finest City for the warm up to the big event. A brave and dedicated few have been sitting in their lawn chairs since the wee hours of the morning as exhibitors set up inside the cavernous convention center floor. We took a few random shots of some marketing marquees and banners draped across the buildings, hotels, and lamp posts as the run up to Comic-Con begins! 

If you haven't heard, there's this little shindig in a lush seaside town featuring a mass convergence of fans of the pop culture over the next 5 days. Galactic Hunter will be there with new armor, new paint, and we hope a better engine beginning this evening for Preview Night.
