Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,387: See-Threepio (C-3PO, Droid Factory)

By Adam Pawlus — Monday, July 17, 2017

Today: Disney's See-Threepio (C-3PO, Droid Factory) from the 2-pack!  It's not bad - it's a little fake filthy, too.  Is this the super-articulated C-3PO you've been waiting for?  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,386: Artoo-Deetoo (R2-D2, Droid Factory)

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, July 12, 2017

Hey, it's R2-D2! This is sold on a vintage-esque cardback with C-3PO at Disney theme parks.  You've seen the mold before, but the dirt staining is new.  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,385: C1-10P "Chopper" (Droid Factory)

By Adam Pawlus — Monday, July 10, 2017

A few months ago, Disney surprised us by releasing C1-10P "Chopper" - with tons of extra parts and articulation.  It's a The Vintage Collection figure in all but name and packaging!  The arm pops out. You can pop more arms in to his dome.  You can change out third legs... he has third legs.   It's great, get oneRead on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,384: Qui-Gon Jinn (The Black Series)

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, July 5, 2017

The 6-inch Qui-Gon Jinn is tall and surprisingly nicely sculpted.  It's missing the Jedi cloaks we all crave, but you do get a lightsaber and an alternate hand.  And an excuse to learn how to sew.   Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,383: Death Squad Commander (The Black Series / 40th Anniversary)

By Adam Pawlus — Monday, July 3, 2017

Death Squad Commander.  It's on a 40th Anniversary cardback, and maybe you'll even see one.  The 6-inch action figure sports a blaster, a working holster, and a removable hat.  There's not a lot more you could ask for here, short of variant heads, and that's just make you angry.  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,382: Tusken Raider / Sand People (The Black Series / 40th Anniversary)

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, June 28, 2017

Available in both kinds of 6-inch figure packaging, the Tusken Raider / Sand People has a different name depending on which version you bought.  They're both pretty much identical - you get a rifle, a gaffi stick with three swappable sharp parts, and a pretty astonishingly good costume.  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,381: CZ Series Communications Droid (White, Droid Factory)

By Adam Pawlus — Monday, June 26, 2017

It's new! (Thanks, Shannon!)  The CZ Series Communications Droid (White, Droid Factory) is up for grabs at Disney parks, provided that you can find the pieces. It's similar to Hasbro's CZ-4 a few years ago, which is similar to CZ-3, which is what I'm saying this is for my display purposes.  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,380: Jawa (The Black Series / 40th Anniversary)

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, June 21, 2017

Hey, a Jawa!  I was surprised to find that this 6-inch scale figure has glow-in-the-dark green eyes, of all things, as an undocumented feature.  He has two blasters and pretty decent articulation that his robes can't really help you ues.  It's still a nice Jawa, though.  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,379: Lando Calrissian (The Black Series)

By Adam Pawlus — Monday, June 19, 2017

Newish!  Lando Calrissian (The Black Series)  is awesome and you probably want one.  He has a cape, a microphone, and a blaster - plus a good likeness and fairly fantastic paint.

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,378: 3PO Protocol Droid (White, Droid Factory)

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, June 14, 2017

New and dirty! The 3PO Protocol Droid (White) has dirty blotches and looks a lot like K-3PO.  It looks like the Hasbro build-a-droid mold, in a new color, and sold by the part at Disney parks.  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,377: Vendor Droid (Blue, Droid Factory)

By Adam Pawlus — Monday, June 12, 2017

New at the Droid Factory!  The Vendor Droid (Blue) is a new head mold, giving you a chance to build The Clone Wars robots in various colors for your very own.  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,376: Lieutenant Sefla (Rogue One)

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, June 7, 2017

Currently an online exclusive (or so it seems), Lieutenant Sefla is pretty fantastic with one of the best projectiles Hasbro has ever made.    The rocket looks like it has a flame trail on it, a clever application of safety requirements used to make a toy look cool.  Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,375: Kylo Ren (6-Inch Value Figure)

By Adam Pawlus — Monday, June 5, 2017

Not sold in the USA so far!  Or at all!  The Kylo Ren (6-Inch Value Figure)  is pretty cool, basically bringing you something that fits with The Black Series on the shelf at a lower cost with less articulation.   Read on!

Star Wars Figure of the Day: Day 2,374: R5-D4 (The Black Series / 40th Anniversary)

By Adam Pawlus — Wednesday, May 31, 2017

Possibly at a GameStop near you!  R5-D4 is the only new figure exclusive in the 40th Anniversary line, and part of Hasbro's proud tradition of droid redeco action figures.  It's basically similar to R2-D2, and a previously released R5 unit, but now it's R5-D4.  This is reason enough to buy it.  Read on!
